The Caledonian Club Presents Jane Chee (Violin) and Helen Leek (Piano) at the Music Society

The Caledonian Club presents their 92nd Musical Evening featuring Jane Ng (violin) and Helen Leek (piano) on Tuesday, 21st October 2014 at the Music Society. Club, Society Members and guests are welcome. A Champagne Reception will kick off the evening at 6:45PM, followed by a Reception Concert at 7:15PM and a Buffet Dinner at 8:15PM.

Jane Ng at the Malaysian Youth Orchestra Foundation (MYOF) Young Musicians Fund Raising Concert 

Malaysian violinist Jane Ng performed at the Young Musicians Fund Raising Concert at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jane was accompanied by pianist Shuenda Wong, performing works by Mozart, Poulenc, and Kreisler. The concert featured MYOF’s scholarship recipients Jane Ng, Shuenda Wong, and talented young musicians from The Music Professionals Academy of Performing Arts, followed by the famous Ritz-Carlton High Tea.

Jane Ng Continues to Serenade Guests at the Savoy Hotel, London

Savoy guests may enjoy taking the hotel’s world famous afternoon tea in The Thames Foyer, while being serenaded by Malaysian pianist Jane Ng. Guests may be entertained with light classics, show tunes, and jazz on Mondays from 3-6:30pm, as well as Tuesdays from 12-3pm.

Great skills shown in pair’s debut

Jane Ng (violin), Fei Ren (piano): St George’s

Jane Ng, the young Malaysian violinist, was well supported by pianist Fei Ren when they made their first appearance at St George’s.

Opening with Mozart’s Violin Sonata in G, the first movement is in regular sonata form and the first theme appears frequently in various guises. The Allegro has the rhythm of a German dance and consists of three sections all basically the same structure. The piano takes the lead and the whole section bounces along until a short coda concludes the movement. Both showed skill and vitality in this excellent performance.
